Avoid non organic fertilisers

If you are a keen gardener, or even just an occasional weekend gardener then try to avoid buying non organic fertilisers from the garden centre.

Nitrogen fertiliser production is very energy intensive, with a high carbon footprint. 

Why not try ditching the synthetic fertiliser and try home composting and producing your won mulch and plant feed.
