Hello, I’m Sarah. I have always been fascinated by the natural world, ever since I was turning over logs to look for woodlice aged two. Having started my career working in film and television, I felt it was crucial to change paths to focus on protecting and understanding the environment and the organisms we share it with.
After moving to Aberystwyth and graduating with a BSc in Animal Behaviour in 2022, I became increasingly aware of the effects of climate change. I contacted Friends of the Earth Cymru to find a local climate group and they welcomed me with open arms! I was able to channel my climate anxiety into action in a way that works for me, contributing my own particular skills – researching and writing.
