The electric car market is growing all the time and as of October 2021, there were around 345,000 on UK roads.
While there are, of course, other ways to travel, and the ‘personal ownership’ model of car use may change in the future (to more car sharing and car renting, for example), if you are in a position to be looking into the potential of buying an electric car or would generally like some more information, check out Zap-Map.
If you would like to do something locally to help increase the number of EV charging points in your area then do contact places like your local car park operators, supermarkets, business parks etc and ask them what their plans are to install EV chargers.
